    Chad Perez

    CO-FOUNDER, CEO

    Chad is a decorated Law Enforcement professional. During his Law Enforcement career Chad worked in the most elite units within the New Orleans Police Department, including SWAT, Narcotics, and Gang units. He also worked inside multi-agency Federal task forces with the ATF and DEA. Chad was twice recognized as Police Officer of the Year and received 9 meritorious award medals, including a Purple Heart and Medal of Merit, and multiple personal commendations.

    Chad has founded several companies, including Pinnacle Security Inc. which is a large security services provider that deploys 400 security officers across multiple states. Under his leadership, Pinnacle Security has been named to the Inc 5000 list of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for three years.

    He has extensive experience with public private partnerships and providing services to cities. Chad has provided innovative and alternative services to police departments, including traffic crash response services.

    Robert Levitan

    CO-FOUNDER, PRESIDENT

    Robert Levitan is a mission-driven entrepreneur who has started seven companies and had several successful outcomes including a NASDAQ-listed IPO, iVillage, and the sale of a Pando Networks to Microsoft. He was the Chief Commercial Officer of Igentify, a SaaS platform designed to scale genetic testing and genetic counseling services.

    Robert co-founded Prone2Help, a non-profit company that provided equipment to hospitals free of charge to assist in the treatment of patients with Covid-19. Within 18 months of founding, Prone2Help manufactured and delivered more than 1,200 proning cushions to over 500 hospitals across the United States.

    Robert served 18 years on the board of New York Cares, an organization that engages 65,000 volunteers in service each year.

    As the President of Aegis Response Team, he's in charge of developing strategic commercial relationships with the company's key stakeholders.

  • Lewis Schiff

    CO-FOUNDER, DIRECTOR: DATA MARKET

    Lewis Schiff is a multi-exit entrepreneur with a background in the education tech sector. He is the chairman of the board for Birthing of Giants at Princeton and the Executive Director of Moonshots & Moneymakers at Oxford University. He has sold two education tech businesses to publicly traded companies and advises and invests in several industrial sector companies.

    He has worked at the nexus of entrepreneurship and the military and law enforcement for years through education programs that create idea and capacity exchanges between the private and public sectors, including with institutions such as The Pentagon and The New York Police Department.

    Lewis is the author of several books on entrepreneurship and numerous studies on capital formation in America.

    As the head of Aegis’ data marketplace, Lewis is responsible for all technology aspects of the company.

Pinnacle Security has been serving Georgia and Louisiana since 2013 and deploys 400 security officers across airports, municipal assets and safety zones, office buildings, shopping centers, warehouses and more. Pinnacle is also experienced with public and private sector contracting. Founder and CEO, Chad Perez, is a decorated former New Orleans Police Department Officer.

  • Michael Harrison

    ADVISOR

    Recognized nationally and internationally as a leader and proponent of constitutional, community-based policing, Michael S. Harrison has been at the forefront of bringing about departmental reforms and changing for the better essential relationships between the police and the communities they serve. He most recently led the Baltimore Police Department as its 41st Commissioner from March 2019 to August 2023.

    Harrison served 27 years with the New Orleans Police Department and led the department as Superintendent from 2014-2019.

    In Baltimore and New Orleans, Harrison has implemented effective alternative policing services that have benefited both citizens and officers, including innovative traffic accident response initiatives.

    Michael Harrison has been instrumental in the development, implementation and assessment of community policing programs that have led to demonstrably increased partnership and collaboration. Moreover, he is skilled at moving progressive law enforcement bills forward through the legislature and implementing evidence-based crime fighting strategies, many of which assisted in tangible crime reductions.

    Harrison was appointed to the Police Executive Research Forum Board of Directors in 2019, serving as its President from 2021 to 2023. He has been a member of the Major Cities Chiefs Association, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives and the Law Enforcement Immigration Task Force.

  • Sean Malinowski

    ADVISOR

    Dr. Sean Malinowski retired as Chief of Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department in 2019 after 25 years of service where he drove innovation through data analysis and technology, establishing LAPD’s real-time crime center and overseeing the department’s Compstat inspections. Post-LAPD, he assessed Chicago PD's crimefighting infrastructure for the US Department of Justice, leading to groundbreaking date-driven crimefighting efforts that resulted in significant declines in gun violence over three years. Now, as Managing Partner of The Policing Lab, he leads a team of professionals that provide technical assistance and training for police departments, including Miami PD and Miami Dade PD.

    Dr. Malinowski also serves as the Strategic Site Liaison to the Philadelphia PD for the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s National Public Safety Partnership program and is a Visiting Fellow for the Department of Justice, conducting a national assessment of real-time crime centers. He is a member of the National Advisory Board for Aegis Response Team.

    Additionally, Dr. Malinowski is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Chicago. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from the University of Illinois and has been recognized for his contributions to policing innovation being inducted into the George Mason University Evidence-Based Policing Hall of Fame.

  • Florence Chung

    ADVISOR

    Florence Chung Wlodarski holds unique, niche experience building public/private partnership strategies between law enforcement (local + federal) and communities (corporations, businesses, nonprofits) for more than 20 years. She has worked alongside police departments to engage a broad swath of stakeholders in enhancing public safety, and serves as an expert advisor to both police departments and the private sector.

    Florence managed the public safety stakeholder portfolio for Target Corporation, and was responsible for building partnerships with police departments nationwide on behalf of the company to manage business risk, while investing in community safety. Currently, Florence is head of HETTY GROUP, a public affairs + community engagement firm, where she continues to consult for police departments and the private sector (corporate/nonprofit) on creating safer organizations and communities.

    Florence has been attending the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) for 12 years and has been a frequent podcast guest, conference speaker, panel speaker and moderator on topics related to police-community relations, public/private partnerships, trust, and social impact.

  • Derrick Martin

    ADVISOR

    Derrick O. Martin is a seasoned, results-oriented professional with a vast experience in economic and workforce development, strategic planning, and marketing. Respected nationally for tackling complex issues at the intersection of public, private and nonprofit sectors, Martin prides himself in developing strategies to drive revenue, increase organizational performance and assist organizations in optimally delivering on their missions.

    Martin is the Managing Partner of Sugchairo Moi & Martin, a multi-faceted boutique consulting firm based in New Orleans, LA. The firms’ services include but are not limited to Economic Advisory, Workforce Development, Risk Management & Mitigation Strategies, and Governmental Affairs.

    Derrick was the Executive Director for the Algiers Economic Development Foundation (AEDF), the official organization responsible for ensuring the long-term economic vitality for Algiers (New Orleans).

    Derrick served as the Vice President of Business Retention & Expansion at the New Orleans Business Alliance (NOLABA) where he helped to develop the first comprehensive 5-year economic development strategy for the City of New Orleans.

    Derrick has also had leadership roles in companies such as General Motors and Governmental Agencies such as the State of Arizona (Maricopa County).

    Tony Copeland is a highly accomplished attorney, focusing in corporate strategy and business incentive solutions with a 30-year record of achievement on every side of the corporate relocation and site selection process. His real-world international experience as a corporate executive for more than a decade allows him to provide a higher level of insight few consultants can match.

    As a former North Carolina Secretary of Commerce, Tony helped bring more than 81,000 jobs and more than $18.4 billion of investment to the state. Under his leadership, North Carolina experienced the largest annual inward investment in the history of the state.
